Could Buffalo Bills’ secondary hold up without Tre’Davious White?

While Tre’Davious White had missed games over his NFL career, he never missed extended time. When considering how much the former first round pick brings to the defense it raised the question, a question Buffalo never wanted to be faced with, about how this secondary could handle missing Tre’Davious White?

The Bills, unfortunately, were faced with this question this season after White suffered a season-ending knee injury on Thanksgiving night against the New Orleans Saints. He would miss the remainder of the year and the Bills turned to Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson as their starting cornerbacks.

For a majority of the year, these two did a pretty good job however Buffalo didn’t have many high-powered passing attacks left on the schedule. When they did face those teams, like the Bucs and Chiefs, it showed just how much they missed Tre’Davious White.

Hopefully, White is able to recover from the knee injury and be ready for the start of the year or Buffalo could once again see what is typically a strength struggle.
