Buffalo Bills Trade Target: Sterling Shepard

The wide receiver position could look very different next year with Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie set to be free agents. The Bills will also need to keep in mind that Cole Beasley is under contract only one more season and they could be looking for a new slot receiver in the next few years.

One player who could eventually be the replacement but also play outside if Beasley is back next year is Sterling Shepard. Over the years, Shepard has played both outside and at slot receiver but has played his best in the slot. In his career, Shepard has 349 receptions, 3,884 receiving yards and 21 receiving touchdowns.

The veteran receiver has dealt with plenty of injuries over the past few years, including most recently a torn Achillies towards the end of the regular season. The Bills would certainly be taking a risk trading for Shepard with his current injury but if they are confident he can fully recover, it could be a great value to add him now.
