Buffalo Bills beat the New England Patriots in Week 16

The Buffalo Bills victory over the Patriots in the AFC Wild Card Round will likely be the one that most remember from this season. However, their victory in Week 16 was a bigger moment for this franchise based on where the team was currently at that point in the season.

The Bills had just lost at home to the Patriots about four weeks earlier, one that moved New England ahead of the Bills in the AFC East standings. There was no question that Buffalo had their back against the walls and if they hoped to win the division, this was a must-win.

Even on the road, the Buffalo Bills responded and would go on to win 33-21 as Josh Allen had one of his best games of the regular season with 314 passing yards, 64 rushing yards and three passing touchdowns while throwing no interceptions or being sacked.
