The next coach is one that has the same questions that Ken Dorsey does in terms of his ability to call plays, something he hasn’t been asked to do yet as a coach. However, Mike Kafka, who has been quarterback coach is someone that has put together a great resume in a short period of time.

He started his NFL coaching career in 2017 as offensive quality control coach with the Kansas City Chiefs before becoming quarterback coach in 2018, the first year Patrick Mahomes was the starting quarterback for the Chiefs.

Kafka has remained in that role the past four years, with the added title of passing game coordinator the past two years. The biggest hurdle would be the Buffalo Bills would have to wait to hire him until after the Chiefs season, which has a chance to last all the way through the Super Bowl.
