For the first time in four seasons, the Buffalo Bills will have a new coach calling plays on the offensive side of the ball. On Friday night, it was announced that the New York Giants would hire Bills’ offensive coordinator Brian Daboll to be their next head coach.

While Daboll has certainly done enough to warrant the opportunity, it now creates a big challenge for Sean McDermott and the Buffalo Bills to replace him.

This is arguably the most important hire Sean McDermott has made as head coach of the Buffalo Bills. The offense has been one of the best in the league the past two seasons and they have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in Josh Allen.

It is going to be important to find a coach that can have a similar impact to Daboll and build a game plan around Allen that puts him in the best position to be successful. The good news is that there are plenty of options out there and these are five coaches who could be considered for the role, including one who is currently on the coaching staff.
