Did Bills make a mistake kicking it into the end zone at the end of regulation?

There is no question that the biggest storyline coming out of this game will be the final 13 seconds of the game. The Bills had just taken the lead on a 19-yard touchdown reception by Gabriel Davis.

The Buffalo Bills and Tyler Bass would kick off and instead of kicking it short, they put it into the end zone. This gave the ball to the Chiefs at the 25-yard line with no time taken off the clock.

The defense would play prevent defense and Patrick Mahomes would pick up 44 yards on three plays to set Harrison Butker up for a 49-yard field goal and set it into overtime. These final 13 seconds are going to be analyzed and agonized over the next six months and there will be plenty of ‘What ifs” when discussing this sequence.
