Round 1 (27th Overall) – Roger McCreary, CB (Auburn)

The Buffalo Bills have one of the best secondaries in the NFL but their depth was certainly tested this year after losing Tre’Davious White for the year in November. The front office will also have to make a decision on whether to bring back Levi Wallace.

The former undrafted free agent returned to Buffalo last offseason on a one-year deal but after the season he had, there is likely going to be more than a few teams competing for him this year.

This is why I think the Buffalo Bills will look to address the position in the NFL Draft and in the first round select Roger McCreary, who is one of the top cornerbacks in this year’s draft class. He didn’t generate high turnover totals in three years as a starter (8 total turnovers) but is one of the better tackling cornerbacks and that is why Buffalo would likely consider him (135 total tackles, 10 tackles for a loss).

The selection of McCreary would give Buffalo two good cornerbacks on the outside with Taron Johnson as their slot corner and make this one of their best positions in terms of talent.
