6 Buffalo Bills to watch in AFC Divisional Round against Kansas City Chiefs
Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen
The first one is pretty obvious as the Buffalo Bills are going to need another impressive performance from Josh Allen. While they won’t be on the field at the same time, Allen is going to need to match the production of former MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
This past week in their respective Wild Card games, both quarterbacks would throw five passing touchdowns with Allen finishing with 374 total yards and Patrick Mahomes accounting for 433 total yards. While Mahomes had about 60 more total yards, there is a case to be made that Allen’s performance was a little better considering he did it against a Patriots defense that was one of the top defenses in the NFL this year.
The fact that the game is on the road shouldn’t rattle Josh Allen too much as he has played well in his last two trips to Arrowhead Stadium, averaging over 300 passing yards, 73 rushing yards and has six total touchdowns and only one interception.
The Buffalo Bills have a talented roster but there is no question that if they hope to win, Josh Allen will be the player who will need to lead the way.
