Buffalo Bills at Cleveland Browns (1989 Playoffs)

While the Buffalo Bills would lose 34-31 to Cleveland in a back and forth matchup, this is one of the more memorable games because it showed fans a glimpse of what was to come for this franchise. This would be the year prior to Buffalo starting their run of four straight trips to the Super Bowl.

The lead would change hands four times in the first half before the Browns would take a 17-14 lead before halftime and never give up that lead in the second half. This was a big game for Jim Kelly who would throw for 405 passing yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.

Andre Reed would finish the game with six receptions for 115 receiving yards and one touchdown but he would not finish as the leading receiver. That would end up being Thurman Thomas who had an impressive 13 receptions, 150 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.
