Matt Haack

The final player is one that the New England Patriots didn’t even see in their second game. The reason was that the Buffalo Bills didn’t have to punt once with how well the offense played and their ability to pick up key fourth downs throughout the course of the game.

Entering this game though the confidence in Matt Haack is not very high after his last performance against the New York Jets. He was asked to punt seven times and finished with an average of only 33.3 yards per punt.

On Tuesday, Sean McDermott was asked about Matt Haack and according to Nick Veronica talked about his resiliency.

The New England Patriots have an excellent defense and the Bills are likely going to have to punt on Saturday night. If Matt Haack struggles again, Buffalo could find themselves losing the field position battle.

It would be unconventional but I wrote about the idea that the Bills could have two punters active on Saturday night to give them options if Haack does struggle because he, or the position, could be critical against the Patriots.
