Which Buffalo Bills stood out in Week 18 against the New York Jets?

The Buffalo Bills closed out the 2021 regular season with a 27-10 victory over the New York Jets. For most of the game, it was closer than the final score would indicate as the Bills only had a three point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

However, they saw some players step up and have impressive performances in the regular season finale, starting with the players responsible for protecting Josh Allen.

Buffalo Bills offensive line

The performance of the entire offensive line as a whole is what stood out against the New York Jets. Since the Bills inserted Ryan Bates into the starting lineup, this group has done an excellent job protecting Josh Allen but also creating lanes for the running game.

For the third straight game, the Bills offensive line didn’t give up a sack and on Monday Sean McDermott complimented the job Ryan Bates and the offensive line as a whole have done, according to Heather Prusak.

It took longer than most would have liked but this group is playing their best football at just the right time heading into the playoffs.
