Buffalo Bills QB Mitchell Trubisky

If Brian Daboll goes to a team with questions at quarterback, like the Denver Broncos, it would make sense for him to want to bring Mitchell Trubisky with him. The quarterback is one of the most important positions and bringing a player like Trubisky, who knows this offense well, could help the transition to his playbook.

Trubisky joined the Bills last offseason on a one-year deal after a disappointing stretch with the Chicago Bears, who drafted him second overall in 2017. He would go 29-21 as a starter, completing 64% of his passes for 10,609 passing yards with 64 passing touchdowns and 37 interceptions. These are not necessarily bad stats but he never lived up to the expectations that come with being a top draft pick.

The signing was described as a reset for Trubisky and he will likely have a good free agent market this offseason. It would make sense that the team Brian Daboll is coaching would be one of the interested teams.
