Round 1, Pick 25: Garrett Wilson, WR (Ohio State)

The wide receiver position could see some significant changes this offseason with Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie set to be free agents. The Bills could also decide to move on from Cole Beasley, who is in the final year of his contract and if released would save Buffalo over $6 million in cap space.

Even if the Bills don’t release Beasley, they should be looking for speed at the position as well as the potential replacement for their veteran slot receiver. Garrett Wilson would check both of those boxes and would be a great receiver to join Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis.

After a limited role in his first two years with Ohio State, Wilson had an excellent season in 2021. He finished the year with 70 receptions for 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns with four rushing attempts 76 yards and a rushing touchdown.
