Matt Milano
In addition to potentially facing a number of good running backs in the playoffs, the Buffalo Bills are going to likely go up against some very good tight ends. The Chiefs have clinched a playoff berth and have one of the best ever in Travis Kelce while the Patriots have Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith.
There are also a number of teams fighting for playoff spots that have good tight ends like Mark Andrews on the Ravens and Darren Waller (who reportedly could return this week from a hip injury) on the Raiders.
Fortunately for the Buffalo Bills, they have linebacker Matt Milano and he can limit the impact of these tight ends with his ability to drop into pass coverage. In addition to dropping back into coverage, Milano is making plays consistently behind the line of scrimmage and has 14 tackles for a loss, which is six more than the next player who is Ed Oliver with eight.
The Buffalo Bills have had one of the best defenses in the league and Matt Milano has been a big reason for that.
