Linebackers

Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano had the tough task of trying to contain Cordarrelle Patterson, who has become one of the top offensive playmakers in the NFL. They did a good job of that as Patterson had only 28 rushing yards and 24 receiving yards in this game.

As for Edmunds and Milano they finished first and second on the team in tackles and had 13 total tackles with Milano also adding one pass defended. When the Bills are able to win on the line, it makes it easier for these linebackers to have games like this.

Secondary

While Matt Ryan is not the same quarterback he was when he won the MVP award a few years ago, he is still a veteran quarterback that can beat defenses given the chance. The Bills secondary never gave him the chance on Sunday and held him to 197 passing yards.

Dane Jackson had a great pass breakup against Kyle Pitts in the first half, Taron Johnson added a sack and Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer continue to play at a high level. It is remarkable that even after losing Tre’Davious White, this group has remained one of the best in the NFL.
