Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

In a game where Josh Allen struggled to throw the ball, it should not be a surprise that the wide receivers and tight ends had a quiet game. Stefon Diggs led the team with five receptions for 52 yards but dropped what should have been a touchdown on the opening drive.

Gabriel Davis finished second with three receptions for 40 yards, including an impressive catch along the sideline. It was originally called incomplete but Sean McDermott challenged the play and it was overturned.

Cole Beasley and Isaiah McKenzie were the only other players to catch passes today and combined for only three receptions for 28 yards.

Offensive Line

For the second straight week, the Buffalo Bills have got a great game from their offensive line and it looks like they have finally found the right combination. The biggest difference has been Ryan Bates at left guard, who has been with the team for a few years but has not seen a chance to play much.

This week, the offensive line did a great both in pass protection, with no sacks allowed, and run blocking with the offense averaging 5.3 yards per carry. Even with the return of Jon Feliciano and Cody Ford, the Bills should stick with Ryan Bates in the starting lineup.
