1. Kansas City Chiefs (11-4)

Once again the Kansas City Chiefs are atop of the AFC and look like they are on their way to making another deep playoff run.

However, the formula for success this year is very different as the Chiefs are playing good defense as they are currently ranked fifth in points allowed (20.4) and forcing turnovers with 28, which is the fourth-highest total in the NFL. They are currently on an eight-game win streak and during that stretch and have held opponents to 10 points or fewer in six of those games.

While the defense looks improved, the offense has regained its form as well and the Chiefs have averaged 39.3 points per game over the past three weeks. One of the big reasons is Patrick Mahomes is back to playing an MVP level with 8 touchdowns and one interception during that stretch.

The Buffalo Bills got a big win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5 and if they hope to make the Super Bowl, it looks like it will be likely they will need to do that again during the playoffs.
