Buffalo Bills vs. Atlanta Falcons: Top storylines for Week 17
Can the Buffalo Bills contain Kyle Pitts?
The Atlanta Falcons are no longer the offensive powerhouse they have been in recent years but they certainly can’t be taken lightly. They still have Matt Ryan under center, who is a veteran quarterback that can beat teams through the air.
One of the players that cause mismatches for opposing defenses is rookie tight end Kyle Pitts. He is not a typical tight end and is one of the most athletic at the position, it was one of the reasons he was selected fourth overall in the last NFL Draft.
Pitts has been a big part of this offense and since Week 4, he has had five or more targets every game. In the past three games, he is averaging 80 receiving yards per game which includes 102 last week against the Detriot Lions.
The Buffalo Bills could look to a number of players, like Matt Milano, Micah Hyde, or Taron Johnson, to try and slow down Pitts. If they can limit his impact, it will only help their chances of winning.
