Carolina Panthers
The season started off great for the Carolina Panthers as they won their first three games but have been in a tailspin ever since. This past week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the fans in attendance at Bank of America Stadium broke out in a “Fire Rhule” chant and patience appears to be wearing thin.
If the Panthers do elect to move on from Matt Rhule, this is another team that has some excellent playmakers on offense but missing the quarterback that can run the offense as they have seen Sam Darnold, P.J. Walker, and Cam Newton struggle at different points of the season.
The Panthers have one of the best running backs, when healthy, in the NFL in Christian McCaffrey as well as a good backup in Chuba Hubbard. The wide receivers include D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, and Terrace Marshall as well as rookie tight end Tommy Tremble who has played well at times this year.
Similar to the Denver Broncos, Brian Daboll would have the opportunity to find a quarterback to lead his offense but there are pieces around him that could help make him successful early on.
