Harrison Phillips

Harrison Phillips is playing some of the best football of his career, a stretch that started back in Week 13 against the New England Patriots. In the last three games, Phillips has had 17 total tackles, two tackles for a loss and one pass defended.

It is also important to note that Phillips got the start this past week against the Carolina Panthers. While he has had starts earlier in the year, those usually came in games that Star Lotulelei was out. This week was the first time it appears that Phillips has surpassed Lotulelei on the depth chart.

The New England Patriots are a team that likes to establish the run and not rely on Mac Jones to move the ball down the field. They currently have the ninth most rushing attempts in the NFL and this is why Harrison Phillips is one of the key players to watch.

If he is able to have a good game and play at the level he has shown recently, it will help this defense limit the Patriots on the ground.
