6 storylines for the Buffalo Bills in Week 16 against the Patriots

Rotation on the defensive line

Last week, the Buffalo Bills gave more playing time to a number of players on the defensive line that played well, most notably Efe Obada, who had two sacks, and Boogie Basham, who would finish with four total tackles.

The Bills have been looking for more production from this part of their defense for a few weeks now and these two players certainly provided that against the Panthers. The question is whether or not this performance was enough to once again be a big part of the rotation this week against the Patriots.

The Patriots like to lean on the run game to power their offense so having bigger defensive ends like Obada and Basham on the outside could certainly help in this regard. If Obada is able to also bring the same pressure he did against the Carolina Panthers, it will only be an added bonus for this defense.
