Does Josh Allen run more in Week 16?

The last time the two teams met it didn’t really allow for much passing attack with the Patriots only throwing three passes all game and Josh Allen really not throwing much until the second half when the Bills were behind.

The thought was that in a game where both teams were going to rely on the run game, this would mean Josh Allen would run more than he had in prior weeks. However, that didn’t happen with Allen only running the ball six times against the Patriots.

The following week was a different story as Allen had a season-high 12 carries against the Bucs and the offense looked the best it had in weeks. This past week, Allen saw his rushing totals drop back down and he had only three against the Panthers.

Instead, the Bills leaned on Devin Singletary who had a career-high 22 carries and one of his best games of the season. It will be interesting to see how Brian Daboll calls this game and if Josh Allen sees a similar workload to the game against the Bucs or if this is another Devin Singletary game.
