Special Teams

It was a rather uneventful game for the Buffalo Bills special teams as Tyler Bass made all four extra point attempts as well as his only field goal attempt, from 26 yards out. While Matt Haack had four punts for an average of 37.6 yards per punt with one downed inside the 20-yard line.

The most notable performance this week may have been Marquez Stevenson who had two punt returns for an average of 15.5 yards per punt. He looks to be the primary returner moving forward and has shown a good burst when given the chance.

Buffalo Bills Team Grade for Week 15

The Buffalo Bills desperately needed a win this week against the Carolina Panthers. While the Panthers also have been struggling, this was a good win but the question now is can they build off it?

The Buffalo Bills have shown over the past two months that they can beat the teams they are expected to, outside of the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They have also typically won those games typically by double digits and without much suspense down the stretch.

They will certainly have some work to do, particularly on the offensive line if Dawkins is not able to return for next week’s game, but this should be a good confidence boost for a group that needed it.
