These were the Buffalo Bills who had big games and should get more snaps through the remainder of the season
The second half of the season has been tough for the Buffalo Bills but they were able to end a two-game losing streak just before an important matchup with the New England Patriots. In Week 15, the Bills won 31-14 over the Carolina Panthers thanks in large part to some players having their best games of the season.
Most notably was the performance of wide receiver Gabriel Davis who was making only his second start of the season. The second-year wide receiver has been playing more of a reserve role behind Emmanuel Sanders but with Sanders out due to a knee injury, it opened the door for Davis to play 90% of the offensive snaps.
He responded in a big way and led the Bills in receptions (5), receiving yards (85), and touchdowns (2) against the Panthers. This was his third straight game with a receiving touchdown and is now two behind the team leaders in the category (Stefon Diggs, Dawson Knox).
The Buffalo Bills have great depth at the wide receiver position which creates some challenges for the coaching staff. However, Gabriel Davis made a statement against the Panthers and he should remain the starter, even after Emmanuel Sanders is ready to return.
