The Buffalo Bills ended their two game losing streak with a dominant performance against a struggling Carolina Panthers team. This week both teams were dealing with a number of key injuries as the Bills were without starting left tackle Dion Dawkins for the first time this season. It was clear the offensive line wasn’t the same without the franchise left tackle.

As for the Panthers, they lost their starting placekicker, Zane Gonzalez, right before the game after he sustained an injury during pregame warmups. The absence of a placekicker forced the Panthers to go for more fourth downs than they probably would have liked and the Bills stopped them on four of those five attempts.

The first quarter got off to a slow start for both teams before the Buffalo Bills offense found a rhythm and they would score the first two touchdowns to build a 14-0 lead in the second quarter. The Panthers never really threatened from that point forward as the Bills had a 17-8 lead at halftime and would outscore them 14-6 in the second half to win by a final score of 31-14.

When looking at this game, these are five quick postgame thoughts for the Buffalo Bills in Week 15.
