While Stefon Diggs isn’t putting up huge fantasy football points this year, like he did last season, he remains one of the most consistent players at the position this season. This past week against the Bucs, Diggs had seven receptions for 74 yards and now has at least seven receptions or a touchdown in six of the past eight games.

On the season, Diggs ranks 10th among wide receivers in PPR leagues with an average of 16.7 points per game according to FantasyPros. This season Diggs has 78 receptions on 121 targets for 972 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He is one touchdown short of matching his season total from last year.

Week 15 opponent

This week, the Buffalo Bills are facing a good Carolina Panthers’ secondary led by cornerback Stephon Gilmore. The Panthers traded for the former All-Pro cornerback during the season and since joining Carolina has allowed only seven receptions on 12 targets for 23 yards and a QB rating of only 23.6 when targeted, according to Pro Football Reference.

What to expect from Stefon Diggs this week in fantasy football against the Panthers

As has been the case all season, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are not going to shy away from throwing towards Stefon Diggs, regardless of who is in coverage. However, this week Josh Allen may look to other wide receivers like Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis a little more as they are likely to have winnable matchups.

This week will probably look like most of Stefon Diggs weeks this season. He will likely see close to double-digit targets, between 5-10 receptions, and a good chance at a touchdown. This will probably be enough to make him a low-end WR1, high-end WR2.

However, it is worth watching the injury report for Josh Allen throughout the week because if he is not able to play, this will likely limit Diggs’ production against the Carolina Panthers.
