Facing familiar foes
The Buffalo Bills have not played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since 2017 but when they look across the field they will see two familiar faces in Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, two players who have tormented this franchise for years.
Tom Brady was the starting quarterback for the New England Patriots for 19 years and has a 32-3 record against the Bills with 70 passing touchdowns and only 25 interceptions in those 35 games.
One of his favorite targets during his time with the Patriots was tight end Rob Gronkowski, who joined the Bucs last year and has played 13 games against the Buffalo Bills. In those games, he has 69 receptions, 1,070 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns.
The Bucs tight end always seems to have a little extra motivation playing the Buffalo Bills as he grew up in Western New York and grew up a Bills fan. He recently talked about how he would pretend to be Eric Moulds or Takeo Spikes when playing backyard football.
Both players, even at this stage of their career, are playing excellent football and create plenty of challenges for the Buffalo Bills this week.
