Linebackers

This was one of the worst games from Tremaine Edmunds this year as he was seemingly a non-factor for four quarters. The frustrating thing was he did it to himself by consistently over-running the ball carrier and it allowed the Patriots running backs to cut back up the field and pick up big plays.

As for Matt Milano, he had his moments like at the beginning of the fourth quarter when he had back-to-back tackles for a loss when the Patriots were in the red zone and in the midst of an eight-minute drive. Even with that impressive stretch, he is not able to help the grade for linebackers.

Secondary

There is not much to grade the secondary on in terms of pass coverage with a quarterback throwing only three passes. Jordan Poyer led the team in tackles with eight with Micah Hyde adding four but missed a key tackle on the 64-yard run by Damien Harris.

The Bills also played more 4-3 defense this week so Taron Johnson, who has been playing over 90% of the snaps most week, only played 43% and had one tackle.
