Ed Oliver has four sacks in the final six games

In addition to Dawson Knox, one of the players who has broken out this year is defensive tackle Ed Oliver. He has been a disruptive force in the middle of this defensive line and making plays on the other side of the line.

While he has been getting pressure on quarterbacks, it hasn’t necessarily resulted in sacks as he has only 0.5 sacks on the season, which came on Thanksgiving night against the Saints. I believe this is only the start for the former first round pick and he is going to finish the season with four sacks in the final six games.

The Bills have four games against teams that rank in the bottom half of the league protecting their quarterback with the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers allowing the seventh most at 31 sacks this year and the Patriots at 15th with 24 sacks allowed on the year.

Ed Oliver has been playing great football this year and the sack totals down the stretch of the regular season will reflect that.
