Bills 2022 NFL Draft: 4 prospects to watch on Championship Weekend
Tyler Goodson, RB (Iowa)
The Buffalo Bills are expected to go back to the drawing board when it comes to the running back position. This season, they haven’t gotten much production from the trio of Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, and Matt Breida but there are a number of good prospects this year at the position.
One of those players is Tyler Goodson at the University of Iowa who has run for 1,101 rushing yards with six rushing touchdowns. He also has 25 receptions for 219 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.
The scouting report at Pro Football Network describes a running back that can be a dynamic playmaker with his skill set:
"Goodson is also exceptionally versatile as an NFL Draft prospect. In addition to lining up in the backfield, he’s taken snaps in the slot and out wide as a receiver. Furthermore, he’s impressive at leaking out of the backfield to pose a receiving threat. He displays excellent pass-catching technique, with few drops witnessed in the games studied. As an additional wrinkle, Goodson has also seen snaps as a Wildcat quarterback in high school and at Iowa."
If the Buffalo Bills want to draft a potential replacement for Breida, who is a free agent after the year, to compete with Singletary and Moss, Tyler Goodson would be a great selection.
