Can Stefon Diggs continue his streak of good games in Week 13 against the New England Patriots?

After a slow start to the year, Stefon Diggs has been much more productive. The Buffalo Bills top wide receiver now has at least 85 receiving yards or a touchdown reception in six straight games. This streak dates back to Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans when he had nine receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown.

Last week against the New Orleans Saints, Diggs drew Marshon Lattimore, who is one of the better cornerbacks in the league. He would go on to have one of his better games of the season by catching seven of nine targets for 74 yards and this touchdown reception.

Should fantasy football managers start Stefon Diggs in Week 13 against the New England Patriots?

This week, Stefon Diggs is going to draw another tough matchup as the Patriots are allowing the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers over the past four weeks, according to NFL.com.

One of the reasons is J.C. Jackson, who will likely be lined up against Stefon Diggs a lot. The Patriots cornerback is playing great football and was recently named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month.

However, the last time these two players faced each other was in Week 16 last year when Stefon Diggs had nine receptions, 145 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. According to Pro Football Reference, this was also one of Jackson’s worst games of last season where he gave up four receptions, 71 yards, and two touchdowns.

It is hard to imagine Stefon Diggs is able to replicate his performance from a season ago but he is going to be heavily involved in this game. He has had six straight games with six or more targets and if he can find the end zone, he should finish as WR1 this week.
