The New England Patriots invested a lot of money into the tight end position during the offseason after signing both Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith. These moves have worked well for the Patriots, with Henry in particular. The former Chargers’ tight end is currently tied with Buffalo Bills’ tight end Dawson Knox for the league lead in receiving touchdowns among tight ends with seven.

Fortunately, the Bills have one of the better linebackers in pass coverage in Matt Milano. Buffalo was able to bring back Milano in the offseason and he has been a key part of this defense.

In 10 games, he has 57 total tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, and three passes defended. According to Pro Football Reference, when quarterbacks throw in Milano’s direction they have a QB rating of only 69.0 which is a career-low.

Henry and Smith currently are fourth and fifth on the Patriots in terms of targets and should once again be a big part of their offensive game plan. If Matt Milano is able to limit their impact, this will help contain the Patriots’ offense.
