ESPN: Buffalo Bills move back into the Top 10

Current Week’s Ranking: 7

Last Week’s Ranking: 12

This week, the power rankings on ESPN re-visited the confidence meter for each team and compared it to where they were back in Week 6. Surprisingly, the Bills didn’t move much from 7.8 in Week 6 to 7.9 this week, even though they were 4-2 at that point and since then have only been 2-2, which Alaina Getzenberg notes:

"Buffalo has not been able to stack wins since the beginning of October. The offense needs to establish more of its identity and show that it can be effective game after game. Two upcoming matchups against the Patriots and a contest in Tampa will be telling. — Alaina Getzenberg"

This week’s game against the New England Patriots is arguably one of the biggest regular season games the Bills have had in the past two seasons. Last year, they weren’t challenged much for the division title but they are now behind the Patriots and a loss on Monday night would give New England the tiebreaker for the moment to help extend their lead over Buffalo.
