Linebackers

This week the Buffalo Bills got Tremaine Edmunds back after he missed the prior two games due to a hamstring injury. There is no question that this defense is better with Edmunds on the field but it seems like Matt Milano in particular always plays better alongside Edmunds.

These two finished tied for the team lead in total tackles with eight with Milano adding one tackle for a loss. The Bills defense will need another performance like this next week against the New England Patriots and their run offense.

Secondary

The Buffalo Bills secondary held the Saints to only 146 passing yards, completing 57% of their passes and allowing only one reception to go more than 20 yards with Jordan Poyer adding another interception to his season total. They were able to do all this without Tre’Davious White playing about 60% of the game after he left due to a knee injury.

This opened the door for Dane Jackson to see the most playing time this season and he did a decent job considering the circumstances. The big question now is how much time, if any, will Tre’Davious White and can this secondary continue to play at a high level with Dane Jackson in the lineup.
