4 free agent the Buffalo Bills could add after Tre’Davious White’s injury
Dre Kirkpatrick
The final cornerback the Buffalo Bills could potentially consider is Dre Kirkpatrick, who is the only cornerback who has played a game this season. He recently was with the San Francisco 49ers and played in six games with one start and finished with seven total tackles and one tackle for a loss.
The former first round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals is towards the end of his career at 32 years old. He spent the first eight years of his career with the Bengals before playing last season with the Arizona Cardinals, playing in 14 games with 11 starts and had three interceptions and seven passes defended.
At this point in his career, Kirkpatrick would almost exclusively be a veteran depth option and someone the Buffalo Bills wouldn’t necessarily want playing extended snaps or even starting. However, there is something to be said about having a veteran like Kirkpatrick to help guide this position as they move forward without their top cornerback.
