The Buffalo Bills won the game on Thanksgiving night against the New Orleans Saints but suffered a major loss with Tre’Davious White’s season coming to an end due to a torn ACL. The absence of White moving forward can’t be understated and there is a case to be made that he is the second most important player on this roster behind only Josh Allen.
He is one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL and what he brings to this defense by consistently going up against the opposing team’s top wide receiver gives this coaching staff a lot of freedom in their scheme and how they call plays.
The most likely scenario now for the Bills is that Dane Jackson will replace White in the starting lineup but they should still explore the free agent market to look for players to add for veteran depth and insurance in case Jackson struggles down the stretch.
Unfortunately at this point in the season, the options on the free agent market aren’t great but looking at who is out there, these are four players the Bills could consider.
