Josh Allen was not at his best but played better than last week

All eyes were going to be on Josh Allen this week as he is the franchise quarterback, the leader of this team and the success of the team usually correlates with his performance. There is no question that Josh Allen played much better this week against the Saints than last week against the Colts. He finished completing 23 of 28 for 260 passing yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions.

That final stat is why Josh Allen still isn’t necessarily playing his best football as turnovers have been a problem recently. Over the past four weeks, Allen has seven interceptions during that stretch compared to only three in the first seven games.

Those turnovers didn’t impact the outcome in this game but in close games, these types of mistakes could decide the winner. This needs to be a focus for Josh Allen moving forward.
