Buffalo Bills enter Week 12 with no players carrying injury designations
The Buffalo Bills are entering tomorrow night’s game against the New Orleans Saints relatively healthy. This week marks the return of middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who missed the past two games due to a hamstring injury.
The only other player on the injury report for the Bills is wide receiver Cole Beasley, who has been dealing with a rib injury. He was limited this week during practice but without an injury designation, it would be a major surprise if he didn’t play tomorrow.
Buffalo Bills still missing key starters for Week 12
Even though the Buffalo Bills didn’t have anyone on the active roster listed with an injury designation, they are still going to be missing a number of starters for this game.
The most notable area is on the offensive line as Jon Feliciano had a chance to come off the injured reserve this week but didn’t return to practice this week. In addition, starting right tackle Spencer Brown remains on the Reserve/COVID-19 list so the next chance for both to return will be in Week 13 against the New England Patriots.
The absence of these two players likely means the Bills will stick with the same offensive line they did last week with Cody Ford starting at right guard and Daryl Williams at right tackle.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Buffalo Bills will be without starting defensive tackle Star Lotulelei for the third straight week. He was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list prior to the game against the New York Jets.
For this game, the Buffalo Bills could once again look to Harrison Phillips and Vernon Butler to replace Lotulelei. However, considering the disappointing results it would not be surprising to see the Bills call up either Eli Ankou or Brandin Bryant from the practice squad this week.
