Tremaine Edmunds

It looks like the Buffalo Bills will be getting their starting middle linebacker back this week after Tremaine Edmunds missed the past two games due to a hamstring injury. He has certainly been missed and this will be a big boost for this defense.

While A.J. Klein has done a good job at times filling for Tremaine Edmunds, he doesn’t bring the same skill set, particularly against the pass. Edmunds is much better in this regard and it should help this defense against the Saints.

He is also better against the run and this on paper looked like it could be a tough matchup for the Bills. The Saints have one of the best running backs in the league in Alvin Kamara. However, he has yet to practice week and looks unlikely to play and would open the door for Mark Ingram. Although, Ingram also missed Tuesday’s practice which raises questions about his availability.

If the Saints don’t have either running back, it would be Tony Jones as the next player up but this would be a matchup that should favor the Buffalo Bills and look for Tremaine Edmunds to have a good game.
