Josh Allen

Without question, the pressure will be on Josh Allen to set the tone and he is arguably the most important player on Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints. He has had an up and down season so far after his breakout season last year and certainly has the talent to take over a game.

One area, in particular, that is worth paying close attention to is whether or not he can protect the football. In the past three games, Allen has had six turnovers and has thrown at least one interception in each of those games.

This was something he really improved upon last year and the first part of this season. It remains to be seen the reason for him falling back into bad habits and it could be he is trying to force throws to Stefon Diggs or he is trying to get the ball out quicker knowing his protection isn’t necessarily great with Spencer Brown out.

Regardless of the reason, if Josh Allen can protect the football it will go a long way in helping this offense and should give the Buffalo Bills a great chance to win against the Saints.
