Ed Oliver has two sacks against the Saints
Ed Oliver has played very well for the Buffalo Bills this season and has done a good job getting pressure from the interior. On the season, Oliver has six QB hits, which matches last year’s total and is only two behind his career-high in 2019.
However, he has yet to register a sack, although he did have one last week against the Indianapolis Colts. The sack was taken off the board with Taron Johnson being called for holding on the play.
This week though Oliver not only gets his first sack of the season but follows it up with a second one. The Saints at times have struggled to block defensive tackles and two weeks ago defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons had two sacks when the Saints played the Titans.
In addition, Ed Oliver has shown he likes playing on Thanksgiving and in 2019, as a rookie, Oliver had two sacks against the Dallas Cowboys in their holiday matchup. This could be shaping up to be a big game from the defensive tackle.
