The Buffalo Bills will be entering this weekend’s game with the Indianapolis Colts with only one player carrying an injury designation. Starting middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who missed last week’s game, as well as the first two practices this week is questionable with a hamstring injury.

He was able to practice on a limited basis on Friday and the fact that he is only questionable is certainly a good sign about his chances to play this weekend. The other positive news at the position is that the other starting middle linebacker Matt Milano did not have any injury designation after being limited in every practice this week with a shoulder injury.

If Edmunds is not able to play, then the Buffalo Bills will look to A.J. Klein to start in his place for the second straight week.

Buffalo Bills have two starters on the Reserve/COVID-19 list

While the Buffalo Bills only have one player with an injury designation, they look like they will be missing two starters for this weekend’s game. On Sunday, defensive tackle Star Lotulelei was placed on the list and missed the game against the Jets. According to Joe Buscaglia, Harrison Phillips said on Friday that it appears he will miss this week as well.

If Lotulelei does miss this week, the Buffalo Bills will look to Harrison Phillips and Vernon Butler to step in.

Then on Thursday, Spencer Brown was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list which is a big loss for the offensive line. The Bills will have to decide how to address his absence as they will have some options.

One solution is to move Daryl Williams back to offensive tackle and look to Cody Ford, Ryan Bates or Jamil Douglas to start at right guard. If the Bills elect to keep Williams at guard, it could open the door for Bobby Hart to start this week.
