Josh Allen bounced back last week against the New York Jets. Should you start him this week in fantasy football against the Indianapolis Colts?

It had been a few rough weeks for the Buffalo Bills quarterback but a game against the New York Jets was exactly what he needed to play at the level many expected when they drafted him early in fantasy football drafts.

He finished the game with a season-high 366 passing yards with two passing touchdowns and one interception. This past week, the run game capped some of his scoring potential as they found the end zone four times and Allen had only two rushing attempts for three yards.

Week 11 Opponent Preview

This week, Josh Allen is playing a better defense in the Indianapolis Colts but there is some areas that he could attack and set himself up for another big game. This season the Colts are allowing quarterbacks to throw on average 249.9 passing yards per game.

They also have given up the most passing touchdowns this season with 23, which is something that could really help Allen’s point total this week. When looking at numbers more recently, over the past four weeks, the Colts have been better at forcing interceptions with five over that span, but that has included games against Trevor Lawrence, Mike White/Josh Johnson, Davis Mills, and Jimmy Garoppolo.

Should I start Josh Allen this week against the Colts?

It would be tough to bench Josh Allen at this point of the season and unless there is another top-tier quarterback on your roster (Lamar Jackson, Tom Brady, Dak Prescott), he needs to be starting.

The big concern this week is not necessarily with Josh Allen or the defense he is playing but the offensive line in front of him. The Bills appear like they will be without Spencer Brown this week, which is something they had to deal with two weeks ago against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

If the Buffalo Bills elect to go with the same offensive line they did in that game, Josh Allen could struggle without getting the time needed in the pocket.
