Playoff implications for both teams

These are two teams that met in the playoffs last year with the Buffalo Bills knocking down a late second hail mary in the Wild Card Round to secure their first playoff win in over 20 years. While it remains to be seen if there will be a rematch, it does look like both teams are at least heading towards the playoffs.

For the Indianapolis Colts, the season did not get off to a great start with three straight losses and four in their first five games. However, the past five weeks have been almost the exact opposite as they have won four of their last five and now find themselves only a half game out of the final playoff spot.

As for the Buffalo Bills, they are 6-3 and currently the two seed in the AFC and if they want to keep pace with the Titans they need a win over the Colts. This game is also important when it comes to the division as the New England Patriots have quickly closed the gap and are right behind the Bills in the AFC East.
