2. Buffalo Bills (6-3)

Even with a disheartening loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 where they couldn’t find the end zone and lost 9-6, the Buffalo Bills should still feel good about their place in the AFC. On the season, the Bills are 6-3 with the only losses coming against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1, a close loss to the Tennessee Titans, and the previously mentioned loss to the Jaguars.

On the season, the Bills have looked at times like one of the most complete teams in the NFL. The offense currently ranks fifth in total yards per game (401.1) and second in points per game (31.1) due in large part to Josh Allen and the passing game.

Meanwhile, the defense has emerged as one of the best defenses in the league allowing the least amount of yards per game (274.1) and points per game (15.0). They are a veteran group that knows this defense well and it is making life on opposing offenses tough.

The Buffalo Bills reached the AFC Championship Game last year and should be in the discussion for that number one seed for the rest of the regular season.
