Buffalo Bills have the best defense in the league

While the offense gets most of the attention, the Buffalo Bills defense has emerged as one of the best defenses in the NFL and I would go so far as to say the best defense. They currently lead the league in fewest total yards allowed per game (274.1), third rushing yards allowed per game (83.9) second in passing yards per game (190.3), and fewest points per game (15.0).

In addition to not giving up much in terms of yards, they are also capitalizing on the opposing team’s mistakes and lead the league with 24 takeaways and a turnover differential of +14. This past week, the Bills were able to force five turnovers which helped propel them to that blowout win over the Jets.
