Linebackers

The Buffalo Bills were without starting middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds this week and A.J. Klein got the start in his place. While Klein will not be confused for Edmunds, and doesn’t bring the same skill set to the position that Edmunds does, he did do a good job stepping in against the Jets and had seven total tackles and two tackles for a loss.

As for Matt Milano, he finish the game with nine total tackles and extended his streak of games with at least one tackle for a loss to three games. He now has nine on the season and has played very well this season.

Secondary

Without question, the group that gets the highest grade is the Buffalo Bills secondary. This week all five starting players recorded a turnover, which is something the Bills haven’t done since 1967.

Tre’Davious White, Taron Johnson, Levi Wallace, and Jordan Poyer all recorded interceptions while Micah Hyde had a key forced fumble right before halftime that took away a chance for the Jets to kick a field goal. This is a group that has spent a few seasons together and right now they are playing at such a high level that they are tough to beat.
