This was exactly the type of performance the Buffalo Bills needed to truly put Week 9 behind them. This week, the Bills didn’t really give the New York Jets a chance to make it a game with 10 points on their first two drives.

The Jets did finally get on the scoreboard near the end of the first half to cut the lead to 10-3 but then the Buffalo Bills would respond with 28 points. The Jets and Bills were trading touchdowns in the fourth but the game was essentially out of reach at that point and the Bills would end up winning 45-17.

These are seven quick thoughts for the Buffalo Bills from Week 10 against the New York Jets.

Lots of changes early on offense- The focus this week was on the offense and Sean McDermott said there would be changes. There certainly was and for the most part they were successful.

One of the big changes was Matt Breida not only being active but seeing work early. On the first two drives, which ended in points, Breida had three targets for 22 yards and the first touchdown of the game.

The Bills also went bigger on the offensive line with Ryan Bates coming in and reporting as eligible for a play on each of the first four drives. This helped spring Devin Singletary for a 15-yard run on the first drive.

Another change was Isaiah McKenzie seeing more time as wide receiver as he had two targets on the first two drives (which is tied for his season-high) and 12 receiving yards (which is the season-high). He finished the game with two rushing attempts for 17 yards and one reception for 12 yards on three targets.
