Josh Allen finds success down the field-

One of the things that the Buffalo Bills offense has been missing recently is success down the field but that wasn’t an issue against the New York Jets. Josh Allen connected with Stefon Diggs on a 57-yard reception in the first half then found Gabriel Davis for 49 yards in the second half.

He also connected with Emmanuel Sanders for a 31-yard reception but that was called back due to offsetting penalties. The Bills finally found some success with the run game which opened up these type of opportunities down the field for Josh Allen.

Matt Breida needs to play more- One of the big changes this week was having Matt Breida active for this game, which is the first time since Week 2. He saw his most playing time this season and responded with two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving).

One of the reasons he was successful was his ability to get to the corner with his speed and get up field. He should continue to be apart of this offense for the remainder of the season.

Pass rush was the catalyst to the Bills’ forcing the interceptions- The Buffalo Bills forced four interceptions in Week 10 with Tre’Davious White, Taron Johnson, Levi Wallace and Jordan Poyer all chipping in with one. The Buffalo Bills have one of the top secondaries in the NFL and this is one of the reasons why they were able to do what they did but the pass rush also deserves a great deal of credit today.

The Bills were only able to get one sack Mike White but they were getting pressure regularly and not letting him just stand in the pocket. This likely sped up White’s clock and resulted in him throwing the ball early and making these mistakes.

The Buffalo Bills now will return home to face the Indianapolis Colts that could have serious playoff seeding ramifications.
