Season-high snaps: 13

The final player that could see season-high snaps for the Buffalo Bills is on the defensive side of the ball. It is not due to a scheme change but rather an injury with Tremaine Edmunds ruled out due to a hamstring.

While A.J. Klein should see a majority of the snaps, McDermott did mention on Friday that Tyrel Dodson could also see some playing time as Matt Parrino tweeted:

Tyrel Dodson joined the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and last year played his first regular season snaps, even starting two games when the Bills were missing Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano due to injuries.

In those two starts, Dodson played pretty well with 15 total tackles, and next to A.J. Klein looks to be the more athletic linebacker but struggled a bit with play recognition and got beat on play-action a few times. Now that he is a year removed, it will be interesting to see how much improvement he has made in these areas.

In a game that the Buffalo Bills should build a big lead, this could be a good chance for Dodson to get some extended playing time and should play a season-high in snaps.
